This is a "CAM SENSOR CAP WITH LED TIMING LIGHT" for a 1986 or 1987 Buick Grand National, T Type, Turbo T, or GNX 3.8 liter turbo V6. This Cap provides a simple and accurate procedure to set the required 25 degree ATDC cam sensor signal. It features a built-in LED which indicates an exact setting point. You simply rotate your engine to Top Dead Center and this cap does the rest. No need to index your crankshaft away from the timing mark! The slotted Mounting permits adjustment as needed for aftermarket camshafts. The cap is made of reinforced glass-filled high temperature thermoplastic for high heat conditions.
