This is a Cold Case "ALUMINUM STOCK APPEARING RADIATOR AND DUAL SPAL FANS COMBO KIT" for a 1986 or 1987 Buick Grand National, T Type, Turbo T, or GNX 3.8 liter turbo V6. THIS IS A DIRECT DROP IN PLUG AND PLAY! This product not only looks great in the car, but also most importantly keeps your car running cool especially for those of you running front mount intercoolers. Not to mention this item will lighten up the front of your car.
The radiator has transmission and motor oil hook ups in the same location as the factory radiator, the fittings are the same size as well, NO need to modify your factory lines. Just hook them up and you're good to go! This radiator has (2) 1" rows for cooling. The radiator weighs just over 15lbs. This radiator also accepts the original radiator cap.
The fans have the correct plugs to plug right into your factory harness. Comes with 2 HIGH FLOWING HIGH OUTPUT 12" inch SPAL fans (1390 cfm EACH), and draw 13.5 amps. Also includes a relay kit to allow full power and advantage of these fans with a delay for the second fan so the kit doesnt draw too many amps at once avoiding blown fuses. The shroud is black powder coated with slots on the top and bottom, and the kit includes mounting hardware. The shroud dimensions are 25x14x1.
*All Radiators are drop in factory replacements with the exception of trimming the core support. There is a piece of metal behind the hood latch hinge that is about 1" wide and 4" long. It is necessary to trim that piece off to allow the radiator to fit properly. Instructions are supplied on how to do so with every radiator. This process does not effect the integrity of the core support at all!
